Duration of the exhibition from June 5 th to July 18 th, 2015

The exhibition is featuring a representative selection of Kathrin Guenter´s intensive research into the psyche and behavior of celebrities in and off the limelight. Performative elements and self staging are integrative elements of the resulting series Star Shots. In her highly experimental and collaborative work with the celebrities (Beyonce, Victoria Beckham, Britney Spears) the artist “conjures” them via contemporary spirit photography.

For the first time she will present her work in progress Celebrity Tarot, which will entangle the visitors into a speculative game of fortune telling…

CELEBRITY TAROT DECK: Drawing cards according to the Stars …

The original Cards of the Aleister Crowley Deck have been especially drawn for each Celebrity. The result of each session determined their respective position (motif) in the new deck. All symbolisms of the Tarot have been translated into the Celebrity World. (work in progress)
Below are some examples of the cards.
